New York, July19, 2016 - hpgrp Gallery New York is pleased to announce Chopsticks,
a four day long art and design exhibition by Tadaomi Shibuya and Satoko Go from
August 11th to August 14th, 2016.
Chopsticks features the work of two Japanese painters presenting a new series of works
alongside everyday objects that Shibuya and Go have each infused with their unique
creative styles. This body of work showcases their contrasting styles of painting; where
Shibuya typically features reconstructed images using straight lines and faces inspired
by various motifs, Satoko employs expressive lines to recreate plants, animals and spaces.
This is re ected in their new design wares, including a series of toothbrushes and die-cut
decorative lace tape, a ordably priced at $7 and $16 respectively.
